Welcome to the NEW Best Of West Shore Contest! We have put together 88 categories – From Food and Drink, Shopping and Services to Living Well and Entertainment. We’ve covered it all!
Here is how the new contest will work – Select your favorites and submit by May 18th. You can mail newspaper ballots to The Sentinel at 457 East North Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 or enter online at www.cumberlink.com/contests. We will count your votes and determine the winner from the top five businesses in each category June June 22, 2012. The winners will be announced in a special Best Of edition on Sunday, July 29, 2012.
Readers may vote for West shore businesses on an official double-sided ballot that runs in paper or they may vote online at cumberlink.com/contests. Limit one entry (per contest) per person. A minimum of 20 categories must be filled out on each ballot for votes to count. No photocopies or facsimiles accepted. Each double-sided ballot must be mailed separately – one per envelope – to The Sentinel, Best of 2012, 457 East North Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. Nomination Ballots must be received by or submitted online by 5 PM on Friday, May 18, 2012. Nomination Ballots received after the deadline will be disqualified.
The Sentinel will not be responsible for lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or illegible ballots. The voting is sponsored by The Sentinel, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sentinel reserves the right to disqualify any business or individual found “stuffing the ballot box”, tampering with or otherwise abusing any respect of this voting.
